Another powerful piece of Blueprint’s technology is our API. Many of Blueprint’s partners are tech-forward firms looking for an easy integration into their systems, providing added speed and efficiency to their operations. In order to accommodate these needs, Blueprint built a robust API so that technology partners could more easily submit transactions and also pull relevant transaction details to integrate into their specific workflows.
Below you’ll find the current functionality of the API and the technical documentation to get you started.

Core Functionality
Below are the key functions our partners can currently deploy using Blueprint’s API. We’re continuously working to add new functionality to better meet your needs.
Submit Transactions
The API allows authorized partners to submit transactions directly from their internal platforms. In addition to submitting the relevant information to post a transaction, the API provides the ability to upload documents to the transaction. This allows partners to perform all necessary steps to open a transaction file with Blueprint directly through the API.
Submit and Obtain Documents
In addition to submitting transactions, the Blueprint API allows partners to submit additional documents as needed to individual transactions. Partners can pull all relevant documents through the API into partner systems as well. This allows documentation for individual transactions to pass back and forth seamlessly, leading to greater efficiency throughout the process.
Transaction Status
In any transaction, keeping up to date on the status of the closing is very important. The Blueprint API provides two options for tracking transaction status. Partners can actively pull updated transaction status information. This allows partners to determine the flow of information into their systems.
Additionally, the API can push automatic notifications to the partner’s system as things are updated by Blueprint, including status changes, document uploads, and title policy issuance. This allows partners to stay on top of their transactions as close to real time as possible. These notifications help partners react quickly to updates, saving valuable time.
In addition to notifications in the partner’s systems, partners can also obtain notifications directly in Slack using the Blueprint API webhooks.
